COVID-19 & 2022 Updates

Summer at Saint Andrew's prioritizes your child's safety. Camp staff and campers will be expected to follow all health and safety guidelines provided by the state of Maryland and the Maryland Department of Health to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.

This page will be updated as new guidance is provided by the state prior to the start of camp, however we have made some adjustments to our regular program as detailed below.

A one-time $25 non-refundable administrative fee has been added per camper. This fee is to help cover costs incurred due to COVID-19. This fee is non-refundable for any reason including but not limited to illness or program cancelation.

Should COVID restrictions prevent in-person participation,

programs will be canceled and full registration refunds will be issued.

No Morning or Afternoon Extended Care

At this time, Summer at Saint Andrew's is not planning to offer extended care. Our camp day, as with Summer 2021, has been extended to begin at 8:30am and conclude at 3:30pm each day.

Masks/face coverings

Summer at Saint Andrew's will follow all Maryland regulations for mask use. Updated information will be shared each week in the "Welcome to Camp" newsletter.

Temperatures

Summer at Saint Andrew's will not take camper temperatures in the morning. Parents are asked to check their child's temperature at home prior to coming to camp. Campers with a fever (any temperature above 100 degrees F) will not be permitted to attend camp that day. Campers with a fever may return to camp once they have been fever free for 48 hours without the aid of fever reducing medicine.

Pizza lunch will be available!

We are excited to continue offering pizza lunch on Mondays and Fridays to families. Pizza is only handled by one member of the staff, preventing multiple hands from touching the pizza on its way from box to plate to camper.

Water Days

Campers have the option of participating in water play on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We plan to continue offering waterplay days in 2022. Campers will be closely monitored as always, with an additional expectation of social distancing as needed. We will follow all state guidelines and recommendations for social distancing and mask wearing while campers enjoy the water slides and outdoor games.
