$80 additional for Orientation Week
A wonderful opportunity for rising seventh, eighth and ninth grade students, our Leader-In-Training (LIT) program combines teamwork, reflection, questions, and action. Days will be spent with campers gaining hands-on experience in the classroom, participating in activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and cooking while learning about responsibility and techniques from Lead and Assistant counselors in their assigned group. LITs will also receive encouragement and support from the camp directors throughout their journey. LITs will work with our counselors and campers in the Lava, Green, and Blue Herons groups.
LIT Orientation Week (June 15-19)
During this 5-day program, LITs will gain invaluable life skills while participating in various workshops and trainings, including first-aid and CPR. LITs will also join our Lava, Green, and Blue Herons in the afternoons to gain work experience. This program is only offered during Session 1 (June 15-19). LITs who join us during subsequent sessions will receive a simplified orientation.
When registering as an LIT, please select all of the weeks that you are able to participate. LITs agree to abide by the camp policies and procedures.
