A wonderful service opportunity for rising seventh, eighth and ninth grade students, our Counselor-In-Training (CIT) program combines teamwork, reflection, questions, and action. CITs participate in training that prepares them to act as leaders in everyday camp situations, as well as when implementing safety and basic first aid protocols, and when dealing with typical behavioral issues.

Days will be spent with campers gaining hands-on experience in the classroom, participating in activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and cooking while learning about responsibility and techniques from Lead and Assistant counselors in their assigned group. CITs will also receive encouragement and support from the camp directors throughout their journey. CITs will work with our counselors and campers in the Lava, Green, and Blue Herons groups.

When registering as a CIT, please select all of the weeks that you are able to participate.  CITs agree to abide by all camp policies and procedures.
