A wonderful opportunity for rising seventh, eighth and ninth grade students, our Counselor-In-Training (CIT) program combines teamwork, reflection, questions, and action. Days will be spent with campers gaining hands-on experience in the classroom, participating in activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and cooking while learning about responsibility and techniques from Lead and Assistant counselors in their assigned group. CITs will also receive encouragement and support from the camp directors throughout their journey. CITs will work with our counselors and campers in the Lava, Green, and Blue Herons groups.

When registering as an CIT, please select all of the weeks that you are able to participate.  CITs agree to abide by the camp policies and procedures.

CIT Pre-Week: June 14-18 (optional)

Counselors-In-Training can join the camp director for a pre-week of leadership training and CIT orientation. Participants will also complete first aid/CPR training. This is a half-day option and is not required for those wishing to participate in the CIT program.
